

Rainy Days and Sunny Days at Bohola National School
The tree lady came on a rainy day, so we put on our warm jackets and went outside to plant some trees. It was very wet and muddy, but it was fun. On a Sunny Day, we held a céilí in the school yard to show off our ceílí dancing, which we had learned and practised in the PE Hall on rainy days. We know how to dance the 'Siege of Ennis' and 'Shoe the Donkey'. It was good fun. On World Book Day, it was really sunny and warm, so we took our storybooks outside to read them. W

St. Patrick's Day 2026
Bohola National School took part in the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Kiltimagh which celebrated the theme of 'Heroes and Legends.' It was a whole school effort with both the School Band and a vibrant float taking part. Children from junior infants to second class took part in the float, with the senior classes performing in the band, showcasing the wonderful talent across all the age groups. Carol Service 2025
The children from Bohola National School gave a wonderful Christmas Carol service in Bohola Church on Tuesday, 18th December. The church was full on the night, and each room put on their own special performance, which included many of the old favourites and some new ones too. Here is a selection of photos from the night. Junior and Senior Infant Play 2025
The Junior Room put on a fantastic performance for parents and friends in the PE Hall of the school. Play was called LIGHTS, CAMEL, ACTION and was directed by class teacher Tara Noone.
